James W. Stephens, Founder
With little more than a paint brush and a smile, James W. Stephens, Sr. began painting houses in the Eastern Panhandle of WV in 1945. Stephens Painting was born and grew under Mr. Stephens' leadership for more than 50 years. In 1995, his grandson, John R. Hardy, took over the reins of Stephens Painting. The business has grown tremendously over the years, but thrives on the same foundation of quality work, professionalism, and customer service.
